Avenue of Art – Week 4 results!!

so…. last week I said I’d make the craft too.. but I uhh kinda forgot?

I got 6/12 entries this week 😀

week 4’s challenge: Recycle a plastic bottle (OR) a toilet paper roll into a summer-themed craft!!

Bonus points: if you use BOTH; the plastic bottle AND a toilet paper roll, you get +2 BONUS POINTS!! you cannot make 2 crafts with them, you just have to make 1, but with BOTH of the things

last week’s challenge was worth 20 points! How you’ll be earning points:

Week 4’s challenge was worth 20 points.

If you follow all the rules, you will earn +5 points.

Out of all the submissions we got for a week, Kaelyn and I will be choosing a “Judge’s pick” and that person will get +3 points

Since there’s a Bonus point system for last week, you’ll earn +2 points if you do what’s mentioned above 😉

I am very excited too!! For the craft- I see you’ve used the cut-out plastic thingy from a scissor? ooh and the glitter is cool 😉 great job, Rebekah 😀

oooh I like the swan!! this was very creative, but umm how is the Dino smaller than the swan? XD (jk) you did a nice job!! 😉

“Hi Evin and Kaelyn,I can’t believe this is the last challenge, I hope you like my creation! I created a scene with a bear fishing and about to eat ice cream. I made the ice cream cone with a paper roll and the bear was made of a plastic bottle.-Janyasmagicalworld“

a bear fishing and about to eat ice cream. THAT IS SO COOL!! ahh the ice-cream looks so good… and I love that the bear is wearing a hat 🙂

“Here’s my Avenue of Art entry for this week!It is my first initial made of toilet paper rolls painted with tempera paints! I painted it with Summer-y bright colors”

I really like the patterns you’ve created on each roll- especially the yellow one, I really like the stars. I should make one of these to put up on my room’s shelf! it would look really pretty. Great job on this craft!! :p

but before I go, let’s look at the winners’ system, and the prizes!!

There will be 6 winners- 3 from each contest.

There are 3 age groups, so there will be 1 winner from each group.

so Person 1 is in group A.

person 2 in group B and person 3 in group B

if person 1 has 52 points, person 2 has 54 and person 3 has 49, then they will place like so:

1. person 2
2. person 1
3. person 3

Basically, the participant with the MOST POINTS in each group will place.

(don’t worry, the participants get something too 😉 )
