Discovering my love for writing – againโœ๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ’•

its been SO long since I’ve actually written anything of my own, and I just so happened to come across my old notebook, where I did all of my writing in.

I know blogging technically does count as writing, but I don’t do a lot of creative writing. And I felt like I needed to change that.

I flipped through the pages of my old notebook, *cringing* at some parts, but as I did that, I remembered how I used that notebook to write in my thoughts, almost every single day, and how much I loved doing that.

I flipped to an empty page and started writing, about what’s been up lately, and explaining all of this, why I hadn’t been writing – TO MYSLEF. So if I ever come across that in the future, I’ll be reminded.

I thought I had almost given up on writing, but it was one of the things I loved doing the most, and I promised to myself that I will keep doing that, even if I’m bad at it, and even if I don’t feel that spark for writing.๐ŸŒŸ

Maybe if I keep writing everyday, I’ll get better and even publish my own book! That was my dream, and I thought I had completely forgotten that, but now it still is.

After I wrote this down in my notebook, I started writing a new story. And I had lots of fun with that!

(I might post it, maybe. But I don’t know if I’m confident enough to share my work.)

And that’s how I discovered my love for writing ๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ’• again.

Thank you so much for reading!๐Ÿ’›

I know this is a short post compared to what I post usually, but thats because I wasn’t planning on writing this. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

Bye everyone !!

  1. What a wonderful thing–to get back your love of writing creatively again! That often happens to my juniors and seniors at the university when they take my class. All it needs is a little guidance and lots of encouragement!
If you would like to run your story by this ole’ writing coach, send it to raelongest300@msn.com, and I’ll take a look at it. I promise not to “pick it to pieces.” LOL

  2. Hello!
Wow, that’s so cool! I usually do most of my creative writing on the computer, because I’m too lazy to write. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚
Maybe I should try writing stories in a notebook! ๐Ÿค”

  4. Writing is magical! I think I was about your age when I started seriously writing about the Stones. Inspiration can come in the most unexpected places, so practice, practice practice! You need to be ready when that best selling novel idea hits you.
(And please share your writing on here sometime!)

  6. This was beautiful! I’m glad to hear that you were able to rediscover your love for writing! I know I go through spurts where I want to write all the time, and then there are times where I don’t even want to look at my computer screens. But I believe in you! And I would absolutely love to see some of your writing on here some time!

  7. I hope you may have more and more good days to come so that you can write freely! ๐Ÿค I’m so happy to hear that you’ve rediscovered your love for writing. Believe me, there are numerous times I’ve been in that situation and I still am! I write mostly philosophical essays but I don’t think I’ve made an improvement the whole year- still I’m going to keep on writing as I know everyday’s a new chance to improve!

Hope you’re doing well, Evin! I also hope you gain the courage to share your story with us!
